Car Suddenly Died

Postby n3mxv » Sun May 01, 2022 6:51 pm

Whilst trying to park my car it suddenly stalled and then wouldn’t start on crank briefly back up and then white smoke came out the engine bay. The smoke smelled as if it was something electrical. The smoke came out the right hand side. The car only cranks but dosn't start

I have taken apart the fuse box and checked all relays and fuses and all were fine? The wires underneath the fusebox were fine as well.

I was told it could be the CAS but the car was running fine and wasn’t running rough.

I’ve checked for spark and the car had no spark so i’ve ordered a replacement coilpack.

If anyone else has experienced something similar or know what could possibly be the problem please help

CAS would not "smoke" it would just fail.
So is she trying to kick over or nothing?
Do you have ignition lights or nothing?
Have you run a fault code test?
