changing front side light bulb

Postby chadz » Sun Oct 26, 2014 4:01 pm

I know this sounds pathetic but I have just spent half an hour trying to get the nearside front side light bulb holder with bulb out of my mk2. As well as needing fingers light knitting needles I just cannot get the holder to budge from the back of the light unit.
Does it just pull off or do you have to depress or pull something attached to the holder before you can pull the thing out? I've got the MOT tomorrow and noticed that this bulb is a lot dimmer than the other side when I did the pre MOT check this afternoon. No doubt this will lead to a fail.
Hope you can help URGENTLY.
