Hi all thinking about my 1.6 auto to manual swop i will be going for the 5 speed gearbox but what type of LSD ratio should i be looking for?
also type 1 or type 2 torsion ?

The 1.8 you are carrying parts over from the 1.8 then swap it all over as they are lready matched up.

so just to confirm to covert my auto to a manual 5 speed i can use all parts from a mk2 or mk2.5 donor car ?
gearbox , diff , ppf ,prop shaft , drive shafts ?

Yes and uprights ( rear hubs ) leave it complete and swap them over together to save hassle , drive shafts and uprights as one unit, i would also carry over the 1.8 brakes.
