Replacement Bushes for Hillclimb / Sprint Car

Postby Nookey » Sun Oct 25, 2020 12:40 pm

My winter project is to refresh my suspension bushes in my Mk2, the car is only used for Hillclimb / Sprints and driving to and from events so not worries about general road comfort. I currently suffer from a few knocks and bangs at the moment when cornering hard and want to replace the original 22 year old items.

What has everyone else used and can recommend on experience?

What other parts should I replace at the same time?

My short-list, today, is Super-Pro or the uprated IL Motorsport Rubber bushes avaialable from MX5 Parts.

I will recommend the IL rubber bushes, fit them, use them , forget them, poly is just to hard and brings on metal fatigue if not fitted and looked after right,
