Dimmer switch connections

Postby chadz » Tue Feb 24, 2015 3:17 pm

I have a dimmer switch to install on a mk2 in place of the blank to the right hand side of the steering wheel. The switch did not come with the connector so I am not sure of the wire connections.

If anybody has a car fitted with a dimmer switch as standard can you have a look see behind your switch and possibly take a photo to show the colour coding of the attached wires and if possible the function of each wire. Thanks. Chadz :confusion-confused:

If it is going into a imported Mk 2 there is nothing there and needs to be wired in from scratch.

Kinda figured that out myself. That's why I asked if anyone had one installed as standard so I could copy the wiring.
