Was hoping for some benefit, extra cooling, less glazing, I dunno. Just some sort of improvement. But as I write this I think that maybe asking too much of some cheapo Chinese eBay discs. [EYES]

I had drilled/grooved discs on my old Mk1. Hated them. Expensive, noisy and with no benefit at all.
On my current car I run cheap plain discs from the local motor-factors. I can't remember what I last paid for them but it was around £50 for the pair (maybe less). I just use upgraded pads (Stoptech from 5Speed) and they are fine on road and track with no fade whatsoever even with over 240bhp and a relatively heavy Mk2.5 (with SC, IC, roll bars, AC, leather etc.).
