Rattle from rear deck area

If you experience a rattle from the rear "parcel" shelf after fitting an aftermarket exhaust, it's normally caused by the support for the shelf knocking on the metal panel underneath it.

This can be cured by installing some foam where it touches the metal panel.

Firstly remove the centre console, the scuff plates on the sill, the seat belt tower trims, the style bar covers and the rear panel trim.

Once the panel is removed it'll look like this.

This is the area where the plastic support touches the metal panel.

Insert a piece of foam and refit all of the trim back.
