Colour Change of Windscreen surround

Postby Richardn » Sat Dec 15, 2012 8:05 pm

I always thought the windscreeen surround on a Mk3 convertable should be black, especially also on the folding roof ones with a black roof.

Not being brave enough to paint it I decided on a wrap. I was quoted £70 -£120 to wrap it

So......in true mender fashion I bought the wrap of ebay (£6.99 delivered) and did it myself. I could have done better, but pretty good for a first attempt, and I'm sure I can afford anather £7 when it starts to bug me, or I can just peel it off and go back to silver

Before (I know it's before I did the skirt)
