Postby italianxrays » Sun Aug 12, 2018 10:47 pm

Mazda phoenix edition, after dodgy MOT garage agreed to complete all work to avoid VOSA
Fitted new rear upper and lower wishbones that were rotten, for me the ride height seems a bit high as I can get a full hand sideways between tyre and arch, is there a reason or any advice on cause perhaps the way been fitted.
It all looks ok underneath.
Thanks for any help.thinking of a coil over set up now.

Mk2.5's on standard units all sit high it is the spring tension....as for "coil overs"...they all are except for leaf springs, i guess you are on about adjustable set ups....in which case I highly recommend mieister R....all mine are fitted with them on fast road/motorway alignment...i cannot fault them...full adjustable to be able to set them to yourown personal style of driving.

So it's about cost? meisters are not dear compered to a lot of high up brands, sets of HSD's are around the same price, spax's are not that great, tech's are rubbish, it is a simple case of you get what you pay....try looking for a s/hand set .
