mk1 6speed

hi all i have a chance to swap out my 5 speed with open diff from my uk 1997 1.6 to a 6 speed from a 1.8 including torsen , driveshafts ,prop shaft , gearbox and all the associated bolts.
are there any problems that i may face in doing the swap ?

The drive shafts changed around 1993 so you should be OK there. You will end up with the car revving higher at 70 on the motorway but better on the track. I would keep the 5 speed as I do not track the car and like it to be quieter on the open road.
