In the Scottish wilderness,

Image

Image

Currently tucked up in the garage under a cover

Image

All good intentions of prepping for sale in about 2-3 weeks and will be getting out and taking better pictures.

Image

Image

Image

From the shots from the underside of the sills as you can see it is in very good shape and like I said it is now that time is needed under there to prevent any further degradation.

Image

Along side all the usual RS specs - 6 Speed, Mazdaspeed engine, light flywheel, Bilstein shocks and lower ride height, AC etc etc

Has Factory bodykit

Does not have the style bar any longer nor the grill, the car is in original spec was hoping to show it as such

Toyo Proxies all round with good tread

Original alloys

Cobra immobiliser with Cert of installation with 2 keys

2 car keys

UK Owners Manuals

Original Chequerboard Roadster Floormats.

mk2.5 Console currently fitted with Silver inserts

Image

KM conversion conducted at import (cert included)

ODO Shows 79471 - with the KM conversion is 52550 miles

Image

Presently SORN and insured with Adrian Flux.

MOT until August 25th 2015

Image

Corrosion on brakes discs was mentioned in the last MOT and I have a complete set of Mazda Genuine Pads and Discs which cost £300 to go with the car.

Image

I have fitted a new hood in May 2012 it is grey (like that on the Nevada), but it is aftermarket and tight as drum.

New battery March 2012

Image

Reasonable paperwork with the car,

I have changed the oil regularly since in my ownership.

Timing belt was done in 2010

Every MOT since the car came into the Country - imported July 2007 is here

3 keepers

MOTs in pic - V5 ref if you want to look the car up

2011 - 73884

2012 - 74002

2013 - 76847

2014 - 78717

You can see the car has been recreational use only and regularly kept garaged

Bad bits right now - nothing to right home about and I am being uber critical, but the car is coming up 17 years old so completely acceptable.

Could do a refit to one of the drivers side roof rubber as it popped out

Small mark on drivers seat - (Bolsters are in great condition however)

Some sun damage to paint on top of wing mirrors

A small parking ding in passenger door

Stone chip on bootlid (minor)

Minor stone nick 2mm on front bumper beside number plate.

Very light scuff on back bumper, will polish out

otherwise this car is in pretty great condition, I have tried to look after her while in my hands and again getting her out this evening I know I am going to regret this, she is the best MX-5 I have owned and I have had 10 now.

Price is £2700 no negotiation on that, that is my best price with the condition she is in ,rot free and intact rot free front rails which is now rare.

I am soooooo tempted but think I will make do with our little Eunos but this one sounds sweet and a keeper for someone out there. Pity the VEL for these motors is so dammed expensive.

1993 1.6 Eunos Roadster (gone)
1998 UK Mk 2 1.6 (gone)
2003 1.8 SVT Sport (Why did I sell it!!!!)
1991 1.6 Eunos Roadster with a bit of bling.

Life is a journey, best travelled topless in an MX5!!
