I have a Mk1 so looks like I could be looking for ages and ages, but in my now departed Mk2.5, I had a 13mm rolling around in the boot!!

Well worth a try!!!

I never did find a 13mm on either the Mk2 or 2.5???

Is it the bolt that attaches the alternator to the engine bracket?

Ah this is why I haven't come across one on my mk1. So if it's on the 2, is it a regularly used bolt say for a service or is it obscure and wouldn't be touched much?
