Funny patch on soft top

Postby Vicky » Sun Apr 28, 2013 10:34 am

Morning chaps

I gave my roof a good cleaning with Renovo last Saturday. It was pretty clean as I'd given it a thorough cleaning a few weeks before.

Anyway, I used the Renovo reproofing stuff on Sunday and though all was well.

Today there's a funny greenish patch on the top just above the back window - arrrrggghhhh

Have I got to scrub the whole lot again or will I get away with scrubbing the offending patch ?

Never seen anything like this on my roof before, I've always used Autoglym before on my roof and never had any issues.

I did realise when I posted that I needed photos ... unfortunately hub had gone out in mine today so I couldn't take any. Will take some tomorrow in the day.

His is in for repairs after being shunted sideways across the M40 by a lovely German lorry driver who didn't see us
