NB Door problems - Help please

Postby SuperMech » Thu Jul 17, 2014 8:09 am

Hi m-ms

I have an NB with a large hole in the side where the door used to be. Door hinges have also been removed from the car and the door (for painting). It's now time to replace everything and my question is 'How do I do it'.

Do I put the hinges on the door first, then put door on the car? If so, how to I get to the hinge bolts, through the wheel arch? How do I level off/adjust the door to fit properly?

Or is there another method? Oh and there is only me doing this and my friend hydraulic Jack.......

Any help appreciated......

Regards to you all
