This is a great bit of kit for the home machanic, and he also as plenty more bits to make life with fetttling a lot easier, you will need an electric drill and add the attachment supplied if you do not want to do it by hand, and somewhere to store it when not in use, this one is the adjustable version, so with a little spannering you can make it wider if needed for other makes of cars, you will also need to get or make some small run on ramps about 2" high( he does sell some) so you can slide this unit under the Mx/Roadster or a lowered car, so for that only it gets a 8 out of 10.

8 out of 10

I use the 'Car Skates' to put under two wheels and move sideways into a tight parking spot, the door on the big shed is on the side instead of the end and they are good to get the car moved without ten point turn....

That looks brilliant! I can't justify £450 for one myself but for someone who works on cars all the time it looks perfect!
Does it look sturdy enough to last a long time?

Yes it is solid, and built to last, you can take it to any height you wish and lock it off,we had it straight to do spring changes on this owners roadster, the best bit was locking it off with the back end down and just leaned into the boot to undo the nuts and then just locked it back of staight to remove the dampers, and then just the same refitting, i am sure this will get well used.

Didn't Fireball XL5 take off from something like that ?

"I wish I was a spaceman, the fastest guy alive.

I'd fly you round the universe in Fireball XL5.

Way out in space together, conquers of the sky.

My heart would be a fireball, a fireball,

Every time I gazed into your starry eyes".

But not as good as the Joe90 or Thunderbird themes :naughty:

This is just the sort of post you would find on a Mazda owners site :-D

M M what did to lift cars prior to this?

What are your thoughts on the mid height 1 mtr lifts. Circa £1,500 to £2,500 getting into 2 post prices but 2 posts need so much headroom in the garage.
