According to that link and Wikipedia my car was one of the first released for sale to the JDM - 1 Sep 1989 was the release date and mine has a build date of 4 Sep 1989 - is it the oldest still going in the UK?
1989 MX5 Mk1 - purchased 5 Sep 15! Was Red but now Sparkle Blue with black under bonnet & boot and with Mk2 hardtop (lighter blue than car), Gaz set height shocks and new springs, JASMA stainless headers, rebuilt engine (allegedly as it's got oil all over it), seats retrimmed in Connolly hide, Chrome Roll Hoops and wind deflector. About to get stainless exhaust system, short shifter and other bits.
