Gauge is all wired in and connected up under the bonnet and is running it start up with ignition and working spot on to show the real operating coolant temp for the cooling fans to kick in and show a 10 degrees true drop for the fans to stop and the cycle start again while the OE one does "nothing"...
All the last bits tided up , the HU is not talking to the electric aerial, now whether it is the HU or a damaged wire to the aerial ???? as i have tested with a spare known working aerial and nothing from the signal wire????Personally i would just fit a stubby aerial and be done with it and be done with the hassle....

Suspension next now....

Found water weeping into the boot on the passenger side and into the jack well, looks like it could possibly be a split/damaged rain rail? as she as had a MK 2 frame with HRW from off another car fitted at some point...need to investigate further...if it is a badly damaged rain rail ,then it is a newer rain rail.....
she just keeps giving from bodge it ,dodge it and run fixers?

Removed the so called windblocker,re deck carpet and checked for a leak which was obvierss where it was pouring in straight away, so unbolted the holding brackets, unhooked the rain rail, cleaned it down, found the hole, dried it off and re sealed it, bolted everything back up and refitted, tested before re adding the deck carpet and wind wish it blocked, so all done....next
