Pump for the gearbox and diff oil changes...

Postby Mazda Mender » Mon Oct 12, 2020 7:02 am

I deal with a lot of roadsters and their owners in many ways, the changing of gearbox and diff oil as always been a pain, i have looked at and tried many different ways to make this to be easier ,has it should be a very quick simple job to do, but it never is and ends up a faff and messy, well i got to thinking about it again, and i was always steered with the idea of a pump to just switch on , fill until it starts to weep, switch off, filler plug back in , job done....well thats the plan any way.

Will let you know if this does work for those that are interested.

I have used a two way hand pump for ages but recently bought an electric pump from Lidl.

As you say it's always a faff and messy so that's why I am going to try the electric pump next time I do mine unless it's done by Mm!

Your okay boss.

Did it this morning at the garage using his fancy sealy pump.

So much easier with the car up in the air.
