Hey I thought I would do a quick guide with pics of how to change the gearbox oil and diff oil this is on my mk2 6 speed but to be honest the mk1 and the 5 speeds are fairly similar also :)

Ok tools you will need are a 24mm + 23mm socket and ratchet and a homebrew filling system (look below)....

Ok now for the diff , yet again you will need the same tools ratchet and 23mm -24mm socket and the homebrew shitfiller3000

this is a mega easy job (when you squirt both bolts with wd40 the day before)

undo the bottom drain bolt on the diff 24mm should do it and let all the oil drain out then...
