Hi to Everbody out there !

I'm a new member living in Dublin. In 2013 I acquired a 1997 NA 1.8 which had been vandalized during an attempted, but botched theft. Autolink assisted me at the time with the necessities to re-instate the steering and dashboard damage, and I fitted a new hood. The car was originally registered in the UK in April 1997, and was imported into Ireland in 2003. It was fitted with very low-running adjustable Koni's which resulted in fantastic roadholding and zero comfort for road use !
I subsequently changed to Mk2 standard struts all-round and fitted power steering from a donor car.
In 2019 the dreaded tin-worm broke through on the rear wheel arches, causing an NCT failure ( your MOT equivalent ) Repair panels were obtained from Autolink and cutting began. And then the true state of rot was discovered where an earlier cover-up repair job had been done on the rear end of both sills. All of this has now been put right, and I am the happy owner and daily user of my lovely green Mk1 MAZDA mx5.
But my real Heart-throb is my 1933 MG J2 for Special occasions !
