And its foooooo#.

Drops to less than 9volts on cranking so new battery is required.

Surprisingly I have discovered that the one fitted is a Eurocar parts, Drive Master sealed battery and its lasted over 10yrs.

Good news is no rot or any signs of corrosion under the battery.

However a OEM Panasonic will be going in.

Just hope Santa can call in on his way back if not then it's the Easter Bunny.

We have just finish giving all ours a winter boost, all 6 batteries.... :-D :handgestures-thumbup:

Not really what i have done to her , but i have a MK 1 1.6 here with a running issue ,which is on the inlet, so dug out a full inlet to swap out so i can test it on her and pressure test the inlet i think is at fault once her, so did a deep clean on my tester , and well you know how it goes, ended up stripping it all down, wire brushing ,sanding etc good wipe down with brake cleaner ,painted everything and rebuilt it with copper grease and red rubber grease, and on build up after everything was done and away , i found a 10mm bolt i missed, grrrrrrrrr, it was like a kick in the n*ts, it will niggle me now until i sort it , and then also change the devil hose clips for some newer ones, my good lady asked why i had gone into so much detail when it was a "tool" for testing with, its clean for use and i know it works, and "why not".
So i will now be doing another Seven ready for testing with , as these get older different issues are showing up, so makes sense for me to do so and have them sat on a shelf ready with all the other testers when the diagnostic reader tells me nothing as in this case and many others i have had to deal with..

Replaced front and rear springs today on my Mk3 with 30mm lower springs. Much improved ride height.
