What's the point of owning cars like these if you can't show them off 8-)

Added a few pics of my old Mk1 Berkeley.

The MINI is the ideal daily driver for me. I don't need anything big (no kids :)) but as my drive to work is 22 miles each way and all b-roads I want something that's fun to drive but also economical. The MINI gives me 36mpg which is at least 10mpg more than the MX5 would.

Showing off as got to be done :D , what i love about your 2.5 is that it does not advertise the fact of what she has got ;)
The berkley is great, i could never bring myself to get rid of my V.S II when the 2 came along, and i am so glad she stayed, my Mk 2 is my daily, and the Mk1 always makes me still understand why i love these little jems so much when i take her for a good burn  ,i have had a fair few over the years, i have ended up keeping a couple, the new one to the bunch is a white V.S 6 spd 1.8, 1999 ,fresh here about 3 weeks back now, another to play with , ( i have a great wife), i have four here at the mo plus the family Mazda 3 also, and dont tell anyone but the Mk 1 V.S 1.8 is an Auto with a hitch bar and so is my black Mk 2 1.8 that also sports an hitch bar, and it realy pis*es Nick right off good style, sshhhhhh. lol
If i get bored one day i'll convert them to manuals?

Cheers! Those skid-pan pictures make it look like I'm going really fast but it's probably nearer to about 10mph  There was almost no grip at all as the surface was some sort of tile and it was being soaked with water sprays though even the water had something in it to make it more slippery. Great fun but a lot more difficult than you'd expect.

Thanks for the compliments 8-)
The initial SC/IC & suspension & roll bars fitting was done by Phil at Performance5. Since then the GGP suspension was fitted by WiM but the rest is mostly my own work.
