Postby jools182 » Mon Nov 10, 2014 11:53 am

After a Panasonic battery for my Mk2 that can hold charge

Mine seems to be slowly giving up, despite using the correct charger

I don't really have the cash, plus I think the car will be getting sold early next year

I'd rather keep it stock that have an aftermarket battery stuck in there

They do not list everything, you need to call them.

I would just stick a wet cell battery in there. You can get fully sealed batteries that are fine in the boot. I have a Bosch S5 063 in mine which is way better than the Westco and a fraction of the price of the Panasonic.

I bought a Lion battery from euro parts last year and it seems pretty strong. From what I read and was told Europarts developed this specifically for the 5 so maybe worth a look.
