charcoal canister pipe

Postby davew » Sun Mar 13, 2016 7:18 pm

anyone know if it's ok to remove the charcoal canister pipe pipe that runs under the car to the tank, the reason i'm asking is i've fitted some frame rails and the bolts are fouling on the pipes that run down the drivers side of the car and if i remove the charcoal canister pipe it will give me more room.

i've seen a guide for removing the canister but it leaves the hard line back to the tank in place and joins the two pipes together but i want to completely remove the pipe that runs to the tank.

Just re-route the pipe to somewhere safe, it is just acting as a vent, leave the filter in place, as it is catching fuel fumes, with out you will be smelling it.
