She is back ready to be finished off, did a swap around with the G Ltd thanks to mally, ,fun packed full day in the end, but some pics , i tried to catch the flip in the sun?...
Fitted the newer passenger side wiper arm, new windscreen cowl, and the door top weather strips , hang on rewind...i could only fit the passenger side as Mazda had sent me two passenger side strips, phone call time today...Fitted new bottom front bumper bar supports...

So Sunday was finish off the undersealing and get some cavity wax in everywhere and start to make my list of thinks to do...Also i noticed that the seat belts were a bit fiddly to click in (Someone as had many years of fun trying to secure themselves in?), on doing some home work, the seat belts have been changed at some point for earlier ones? but the seats are correct? on checking the label they are from a 1991 car , so two new ones ordered from Autolinkmx5 and a pair of washer jets...

Well back to getting the Sspec back right after the body shop...strip down of the boot for a deep clean again and back together again, build sticker re added with thanks to Autolinkmx5 , interior cab tomorrow and a couple of other things...

Found a jack,handle and brace, so sad time, rubbed down and sprayed as they look a little shoddy, happy now for them to go in the boot.....

Well to be honest with the effort being applied in sorting her out, I am not surprised in the extra effort being applied.

I seriously have no idea what the lad was thinking when trying to do this roadster before i got my hands on her, he seriously needs to stay away from anything with his hands and brain, so the seat belts have been swapped out for the correct units, cleaned and lubed up like new, so thats another of the mistakes sorted from him to add to the many more i hit, but two more said high, part of the process of a build is to use them to find any faults because building a statue is easy on a drive or garage, you cannot feel the car for anything until being used, so test driving after a spot on alignment had been done ...
there was a rattle in just main start up and a slight thud at the back over bumps , which i do expect a slightly harsh ride with billies fitted, personally i am not a lover of them, so will strip down to check the damper bottom bush ( common to go out of shape because of the angle they sit) and the sway bar bushes for any wear and play.
So sorted the sway bar bushes as there was a little play on the passenger side and added a 35mm penny washer to the drop link at the same time, hopefully that will cure the noise at the back?
Now the start up thud/rattle only, spotted the down pipe loose so clamped that up, no not that, checked all along the zorst system for any place it was catching on start up, it was catching every now and then on the back where the tie down loop is , so super duper bend it int the right shape came out and done, it is not that, so after a lot of searching, listening , feeling etc we found it , for some unknown reason which seemed to be the norm with the moon head that had her it was a case of undoing stuff and not tightening them back up correct , it turned out to be the engine mounts, after tightening both sides up correct no more rattle etc on start up.
So test ride for the rear noise over uneven road, no not solved it , so it was a case of lets check that the top mount bolts are tight and the centre strut nut, 14mm were tight to the body, so clicked in a 17mm for the centre nut , to big , so looking at it guessed a 14mm ?, to small, it was a random 15mm nut, so on trying to tighten down, it was just going round and roundwith the shaft, which means the D hole for holding the shaft tight is round so thats the issue , the shocker is not fully tightened down to stop, so i'll sort that tonight after MOT, some people need to stay away from any kind of spanner, so most of the day was taken up with going right through the roadster and checking every nut and bolt bar where i had all ready been...

Any way very nice drive in to drop her off for MOT, she does drive lovely, someone is going to get a very nice roadster to put thier own stamp on...

Well she as been sat since 2017 being faffed and messed about with by wish i knew what i am doing but i will pretend to know , before i found her, she shouted at me to help her from her grave with magic head having a go, i seen the potential in her to invest and save to be passed onto a new owner to be enjoyed for many,many,many years to come, all that will be needed is to look after her.
She passed with flying colours, " I could not find anything wrong, and it was not for trying to" words from Mr T Harrison MOT chap, I win that one

So where am i in 3 builds all at the same time...
She needs to nip back in for some more flattening of the clear coat, then back for a re ash of the engine bay and underneath( dust from the body shop) and thats it she is off to Steve at Goodwood sportscars , so if anyone is interested in any of the builds i am renovating, they will all be going to Mr Steve, so contact him direct, anyone is welcome to ask me any questions or view at any stage of the builds if interested.
With any luck we swap the Spec for the G Ltd this weekend to finish her off also, then back to the little red roadster and i can look at everyone elses that needs my help while the garage is being built and out house to make my life just that little bit easier .

We noticed only on initial start you there was a clunk clunk coming from the passenger side and never to be heard again while being run? suspected worn or damaged engine mount, so new ones ordered from good old Andrew at Autolinkmx5 and up in the air the front went , and with a bit of a wiggle, shove and push it was out and it was clear it was fudged on the passenger side, drivers was ok but changed anyway....

Update....

Well she is all done and waiting for collection which will be early doors on Thursday to goodwood sports cars with Steve, she as had a good clean including the engine bay from body shop dust and a basic service as she as not done anything since last April when everything was done as documented in this build thread.
All or any questions should be answered through this build thread ,if not i am happy to answer any quires as will steve, although any questions on price or purchasing or enquirers on that subject need to be directed to steve only at Goodwood where he will be also happy to answer any quires anyone my have.
I do hope she is bought cherished and loved for a long long time yet to come and as turned into a well sorted saved Roadster to be stroked with passion and stand the test of time and used, she was built and set up to be driven , with any luck the owner will make them selves know and keep this history thread going for them.
If it is a local'ish owner , i will do a free service next year and check her over.
Both the S spec and G Ltd will come with there tonneau covers to be used to stop the sun bleaching the underside head lining , please use them ,they also look great on..

Any way some pics...Ignore the HT , it is a old one we use as a umbrella while we work on them so is a menders tool for us.

Hi all - its Steve here from Goodwood Sportscars. The Eunos S-Special here has just arrived at my place where I will be marketing its sale. I just wanted to add that it really is as good as Wayne says too (probably quite a bit better actually). Its also brilliant to drive. It really needs to been seen to appreciate the work that has gone into it.
