R-Ltd

Postby Tokyodave » Tue Mar 29, 2016 9:40 pm

Hello to all,
Found out about you guys at the Practical Classics show in Birmingham, when we asked for a bit of help repairing a split on the Dashboard.
My Wife Dawn & I have had our R-Ltd since 1999. I came over from Calais with the importer, so we are the only UK, and 2nd outright owners of the car. It is still in fully original spec with no mods and as you can see, well cared for.
It's great we've now found a community that supports the upkeep of the Eunos, the car that always puts a smile on our face!

Regards,
David & Dawn

Thanks for the nice comment!
Was ready to put the car on the road for Spring/Summer but I've just spotted a small hole in the front of the drivers sill...work to be done.

We've had the front drivers side sill repaired and it looks great. By all accounts the inner metal was very good, I'm awaiting some photos of the work which I'll post when i get them.
I would like to get some proper rust conversion/prevention done, does anyone have feedback of work done by Rustbuster? I would consider doing some of the work myself but gather it can be a messy job and think it may be worth sending it to be done professionally.

I'm still chasing Paul Manning (Panelcraft) for photos of the work done to the Drivers sill. But anyway here's some shots taken this weekend.
I will be getting the internal and underneath rust treatment done next, sooner rather than later as this time of year the car is a daily driver. Nice to put the clapped out Micra away and get back in a proper car!

This is something you can do yourself and at your own pace.
