Get it out of your system. Keep it clean'ish. It can be just about anything that has ragged you up, but please not about the OC. Leave their politics there.

GV and Rev 9's Co*k up repair panels....

Postby Mazda Mender » Thu Jul 20, 2017 7:52 am

These have been made by GV and sold through Rev9,,,,am i missing something here? can they not see what is so wrong with these panels, whats next plastic chassis repair sections? remove the glass and use shrink wrap, are owners really going to be that thick to buy these?co*ck up ...bodge panels as a repair, plastic/super glue or tiger seal, so its about money and ripping owners off than a good honest passion, wow.....My respect for Rev 9 and GV as gone.....just off to find some plastic rims.

Couldn't agree more being about to replace mine.
Perhaps newspaper and filler will do its at least as strong as GRP and will save me £100 a side on replacement steel panels.

First Question, is the font size fixed on MM?

About plastic panels etc I only have experience of the classic red colour and know even after a respray the bumpers change colour quite noticeably. So lord knows what these panels will look like after a while when painted as they are part of the steel panels.

They will work just fine, until someone is in an accident the car bends in two where the fibreglass is holding the rust together.
Or just allow a quick fit tyre monkey near it with a trolley jack!!!

The sills form part of the structure and as said, in an impact fibre glass shatters as it does not absorb the impact.

If Mazda meant the mx to have fibre glass sills that what they would have fitted.

Ridiculous and a fool hardly penny pinching life threatening idea.

Xmas rant over, back to doing the xmas veg
