Front lip painted and front tow hoop fitted....

The rear tow hoop I had was for a Mk 1 without a rear lip skirt so was not long enough, because I had fitted a OE rear skirt, so a template was made , tow hoop extended ,re painted and fitted...

Suspension next before alignment...

Just a quick up date while i am doing the do on my MK 1...
Dropped her around for alignment and one of the alignment bolts snapped, took another around to replace it but i am not happy with the rears so i have ordered a full set off Autolink to swap them all out and drop her back around, i'll up date as and when.

Swapped out all the alignment bolts for newer ones, added a rear better fog lamp and painted the wind screen surround black , changed the heater faces, fitted a leather gator and stick foam...

Not much really as i fight with my V S , but added some JDM pedal covers and carpet clip....

1/4 light window guides stripped sanded and painted ready to swap out when i also spray the 1/4 light metal section on the doors at the same time....

Drift button fitted to help her applying the handbrake because its a disc and not a button with her tiny hands, brackets made up, and the aftermarket cooling fans fitted and wired in ,tested that the suck and not blow to the alloy rad because of space.

Stripped down as far as i could the e/electric mirrors to flat back and paint satin black, and broke the passenger side glass on re-fitting....grrrrrr

So some are found on on their way to use the glass to fit it and then wire them in, also received some rear jap rear number plate panel bottom trim bits from Rob Evans through the post, once painted up you cannot tell them apart from the originals, these are a lot more flexible so not as brittle as the OE panel ones, and the usual 3D printed crap out there , its down to the finishing and attention to details, I am really happy with them and fit, the plates are just a tad smaller than a standard jap size plate but you get the picture...

Both sprayed electric mirrors fitted now ,thanks to a chap called Rayn through FB market place for a none hassle straight transaction for sending them to me with great communication and friendliness, which as not been the case from trying to get items through it before , he is a massive exception to past experience, just need to wire them in now and paint the 1/4 light on the passenger side....

Well with the limited shuffling about I can do with a bad ankle , I have finally gotten around this weekend to wire in the electric mirrors by making up some patch leads, changed the heater control knobs,red alarm light and foot well lighting and ignition light, just waiting on a timer/fader delay on Ashleigh's MK1 build...also re-routed the brake light loom and Jass performance boot light wires behind the boot frame on Ashleigh's and Daryls, so much neater, so back to resting my ankle again, joy.....
