A few of us take part in motorsport whether track days or more serious racing.
Our ability to do this could be stopped if people who move into area near an active track then complain about the noise & complaint is upheld. Please have a look at this petition & sign if you agree with it.
Thanks for looking

Re: Motorsport Petition
I've already signed it [WHITE SMILING FACE]
The people that do live near a racetrack and complain, should be moved on and replaced with petrol heads who would love to live near the racetracks.
I know I'd love that shizzle

Just signed up.
As someone who loves two wheeled motor sports, the residents living near to Croft did all they could to get all racing stopped. The upshot was that Croft is now restricted to a certain number of days a year and because motorbikes need an extra day for set up, they no longer run any BSB or motorbike races there.
The same problem is being faced by my beloved Oliver's Mount road racing circuit (our last true road circuit) who are battling not only local residents but a borough council with a questionable leader and a reputation for being anti anything that doesn't have people on the sea front buying kiss me quick hats or filling council pockets.
Its like buying a house by a football ground, playing field, road or river. You know they are there so buy somewhere else.
A very worthy cause.

Re: Motorsport Petition
Have to admit I moved in near a school, yes parking is a hassle some days & kids make noise! But, I could have turned down the house. Dare I say, we have to take responsibility for our decisions in life. Thanks for signing.

Not a dig, and as you say we stand by our decisions, we moved into a house by a busy main road, we just fitted the best windows and doors we could afford to deaden the noise.
In my former life had to deal with a complaint of noise and balls (cricket and footballs) straying into a garden of a private house by a recreation field. New owner, field had been in use sine the late 1900s, given suitable advice, he soon moved!!
Now come on boys and girls, get signing!!
